23 Nov – For the first time ever, Keanu Reeves is lending his voice to an animated character in a major animation franchise. The actor's voice will soon be heard coming out of a talking toy because he will be featured in none other than "Toy Story 4"! This little tidbit was revealed by Tim Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear, on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". He went on to describe Reeves' toy as "small but with an edge". "Actually, a little inside story, even [Reeves] said - gentle, wonderful guy that he is - 'This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.' And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, 'So we calmed him down a little bit," said Allen as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. Since breaking out in 1986 with "River's Edge", Reeves is as of late more widely known for his action roles, such as in "John Wick" and "The Matrix", so it's no surprise his 'toy character' will carry the same edge. "Toy Story 4" is scheduled to play in cinemas in summer 2019. As the title indicates, it is the fourth movie in the "Toy Story" film series, which begun in 1995 with two sequels released in 1999 and 2010. "Toy Story 4" picks up where the third movie left off, this time Sheriff Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear are, of course, owned by Bonnie, the toddler college-bound Andy passed his toys to. When Forky, a spork that has been turned into a toy, is introduced to the gang, Woody and Buzz show him what it likes to be a toy by taking him on a road trip.
