Angelica Lee and friends raise money for foundation


Celebrities at the Heart to Heart Charity Gala in Kuala Lumpur recently.

1 Jun – Good friends Charlie Young, Angelica Lee, and Valen Hsu have successfully raised a hefty amount at the Heart to Heart Charity Gala held for their Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation.

As reported on Mingpao, the banquet, which was held at The Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur recently, saw the foundation raising about HKD 2.1 million, which will be used to aid the education for underprivileged children.

Among the celebrities who performed at the event include Michael Wong, Sylvia Chang, Anita Yuen, as well as Valen, who performed three songs - "Dreams Come True", "Nice", and "My Dearest Baby".

On the other hand, Angelica joined the group of the Little Yellow Flower children, who also performed several songs at the event.

Auctioned items include celebrities' belongings such as Jolin Tsai's handbags and jewelleries, as well as Karena Lam's paintings.

According to its website, The Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation, established by the three friends as well as Hong Kong singer Gigi Leung, has "the noble goal of bringing love, happiness and hope to all children regardless of their social status" and also aims to "help underprivileged children who are living in less fortunate environments by giving them moral support and help them build towards a better life through proper education."
