26 Mar – MBO Cinemas continues to expand its reach in the local industry as it plans to launch two more cinemas in Johor and Selangor, simultaneously.

The news was revealed by the Chief Operating Officer of MBO Cinemas, Cheah Chun Wai, at the official launch of their new location at AEON Midtown Falim Shopping Center, Ipoh, Perak.

Winners of a drawing competition, which was one of the activities held in conjunction with the cinema launch recently.

"We will launch two new branches in Kempas, Johor Bahru and at Atria Shopping Gallery in Petaling Jaya at the same time. The launch date will be announced soon," said Chun Wai.

In the meantime, the new officially-launched Ipoh location offer local moviegoers a more comfortable and engaging cinematic experience with the introduction of the Kecil and Big Screen halls.

These two high-concept halls are the first of their kinds in the northern region.

During the launch on 23 March, a lot of fun activities were held such as a drawing competition, carnival booths, cosplay appearances, lion dance, dance by Katoon Network and lucky draw.
