3 Jul – It has not been a smooth, speedy journey for The Flash's first solo vehicle but the DC movie is getting closer to making it onto the big screen. Yet another director is being eyed to helm the Ezra Miller-starrer, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and it is horror film auteur Andy Muschietti. The director is more known for his horror works like the Jessica Chastain-starring "Mama" and silver screen adaptation of Stephen King's "It", as well as the upcoming "It" sequel, but he might surprise with his own take on the superhero genre. (Think James Wan with "Aquaman" and David Sandberg with "Shazam!"). His sister, Barbara Muschietti, will be producing the movie alongside Michael Disco.
