22 May – "Think Big Big" is about to make its grand debut in China's cinemas, as the Chiu Keng Guan-directed movie is set to make the biggest release yet for a Malaysian title in the country. This 24 May, the movie will open in China in 10,900 locations and 60,079 silver screens.
The Mandarin-language movie tells of a confident plus-sized girl named Moon who dreams of becoming an astronaut but due to her debts, she is forced to participate in a competition that requires her to post about her fitness journey on social media. "Think Big Big" was released in cinemas across Malaysia and Brunei in February last year and collected more than RM5.4million at the box office.
