21 Feb – Sultry beauty Megan Fox is heading into space for her next movie. Not quite literally but her new big screen role does require her character to be stationed in outer space. The 33-year-old will be starring as an astronaut in "Aurora", a suspense thriller to be helmed by "A.I. Rising" director Lazar Bodroža. "'Aurora' is a beautiful action-packed visual feast set in space and Megan is perfectly cast to play a character battling demons from her past," said Gary Hamilton, founder of Arclight Films, as quoted by Variety. The actress' character, who is monitoring solar storms that endanger earth, discovers that shock waves from the solar storms are bending time. This pushes her into an emotional and psychological struggle with her past and present. "Aurora" is scheduled to go into production this May in Serbia. Arclight will begin worldwide sales for it at the European Film Market that takes place this week in Berlin. Last year, Fox made her return to movies after having been away from the big screen since 2016's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows". She starred in three 2019 titles, which are supernatural romance "Above the Shadows", comedy drama "Zeroville" and South Korean action war film "The Battle of Jangsari". She currently has a couple more movies in post-production, including "Think Like a Dog" and "Big Gold Brick".
