20 Oct - With many movies re-scheduling its release dates now that theatres are opening again, it was revealed that "Indiana Jones 5" has now postponed its plans from next year's opening all the way to one year later. The upcoming movie, which will see Harrison Ford playing the adventurous archeologist at 79-years 'young', will now be released on 30 June 2023, instead of the original date of 29 July 2022. Ford reprises his iconic role as Indy after more than two decades, with the last "Indiana Jones' film being the 2008's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
Not much has been revealed about the new film, except that Ford and co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge were seen filming the said movie in Sicily, Italy. The upcoming film will also star Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson, and Antonio Banderas. It will be helmed by James Mangold and produced by original director Steven Spielberg – who directed the previous four Indy films.
