23 Nov – After moving on from the previous conflict with Disney, Scarlett Johansson is ready to get back to work, not just on the upcoming Disney's "Tower of Terror" movie, but also a new project alongside Marvel's Kevin Feige. The news was confirmed by the Marvel Studios president himself, who spoke to the media at the annual American Cinematheque event, saying that the two of them are currently working on a "top-secret" Marvel Studios project, with Johansson also working as a producer. "Scarlett has lent her talent and star power to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade," Feige said. "That she's chosen to play a key part in it for so many years, I am extremely grateful for. Working with [her] has truly been one of the most memorable and rewarding collaborations of my career."
It was back in July that it was revealed that the "Black Widow" actress decided to sue Disney over breach of contract, following the company's decision to have simultaneous hybrid release of the said movie in theatres and Disney+ Premier Access. Johansson recently spoke about the lawsuit, saying that the experience was surreal and stressful, as it coincides with the birth of her son Cosmo. "In a way, that sort of buoyed me through the very uncertain, stressful time. I feel mostly very fortunate that nobody will have to go through what I went through and that it's made, I think, a positive impact in the industry and hopefully for artistes and creatives' lives and livelihood," she stated. Aside from the two movies with Disney and Marvel, Johansson will also be seen next in Wes Anderson's "Asteroid City" and Apple Studios' "Ghosted".
