25 Nov – Ridley Scott recently confirmed that development is currently underway for the TV series spin-off of his sci-fi franchise, "Blade Runner". In an interview with BBC Radio 4's Today programme, the filmmaker stated that he had already written the pilot as well as "the bible", adding, "So we're already presenting Blade Runner as a TV show, probably the first 10 hours." The original "Blade Runner", which was released in 1982 is set in the dystopian 2019, while its sequel, "Blade Runner 2049" was released in 2017. Both movies star Harrison Ford, with Ryan Gosling joining the actor in the latter. At the same time, Scott stated that he is also writing a pilot for "Alien", which is based on his hit franchise that started with the 1979 movie starring Sigourney Weaver. Meanwhile, the filmmaker is currently promoting his new movie, "House of Gucci", which is based on the 2001 book, "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed" by Sara Gay Forden. It stars Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto and Al Pacino.
