The news was shared by director David F. Sandberg, who posted a photo on Instagram of him on the set of the movie that looked like a very damaged bedroom, writing, "That's a wrap! Now sleep..."

Not much details have been released about the sequel, which is titled "Shazam! Fury of the Gods", but that it will see Shazam going against Helen Mirren as Hespera and Lucy Liu as Kalypso.
