1 Aug – While there is no news as to whether Amber Heard's role as Mera will remain in the movie or will be further cut down following her loss in the previous defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp, it is now revealed that Ben Affleck's Batman will be appearing on "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom".
The news was shared by Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, who shared a couple of photos with Ben Affleck inside his trailer, as well as a video of him laughing it out with tourists at the Warner Bros. Studio, as he exclaimed, "Well, it is not a [expletive] secret anymore, is it? That's what happened, Warner Bros, when you walk out of the set, and there's our fans."
"Reunited Bruce and Arthur," he posted in the caption. "Love [you] and miss [you] Ben. WB studio tours just explored the backlot, alright. Busted on set. All great things coming, AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j."
On the other hand, the official DC Comics Instagram account commented, "Legends".
No news as to how big Affleck's role in the next Aquaman film will be, with the movie set to hit theatres on 17 March next year.
It is noted that Affleck most recently donned the Batman cape in the upcoming "The Flash" movie. The film is set to be released in June next year.
