13 Oct – Just as expected, following the departure of director Bassam Tariq, Marvel has now announced that the studio will be halting the production of "Blade" for the time being. The movie, which was originally scheduled to begin production in November in Atlanta, will now pick up only in 2023, after the studio finds Tariq's replacement. And with that, the release date has now been bumped to September 2024. The move also meant that several other Marvel titles have now shifted its release dates.
"Deadpool 3", which Ryan Reynolds previously confirmed will come out on that said date, will now be bumped to 8 November 2024 - the date that was originally given to "Fantastic Four". Meanwhile, "Fantastic Four", which recently found its director in Matt Shakman, will now be released on 14 February 2025. On the other hand, "Avengers: Secret Wars", which was originally slated for 7 November 2025, is now moved to 1 May 2026, though "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" maintains its original date of 2 May 2025.
