4 Feb – The sequel to 2018's "Den of Thieves" will begin filming this spring. The movie will see the return of Gerard Butler as Detective Nick "Big Nick" O'Brien, as well as O'Shea Jackson Jr and Meadow Williams as Donnie Wilson and Holly, respectively. Meanwhile, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will be joining as producer.
In the new movie, titled, "Den of Thieves: Pantera", Big Nick will be on the hunt in Europe for Donnie as he gets himself embroiled in the dangerous world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia. Christian Gudegast, who directed the first film, is also set to helm the sequel, which will begin production in Europe. The original movie made over USD 80.5 million at the box office. The film could be set for a late 2022 release at the earliest, but most likely to be released sometime next year.
