4 Apr – It looks like cinema operator GSC is set to join the streaming service game, as it was revealed that it is looking to debut its own platform and app called GSC Now. According to Technave, the company recently collaborated with GetPLAY in creating apps that will allow users to directly stream content on mobile devices. Although GSC has yet to make any announcement regarding the project, one may notice a placeholder on GSC's official website and a GSC Now tab in the Showtime menu in the GetPLAY mobile app.
The latter also displays movies like "The Last Witch Hunter", "Viral" and "The Zookeeper's Wife" among others. It read, "World-Class Blockbusters. Limitless Entertainment. GSC Now, a brand-new streaming service from GSC and GetPLAY is coming soon to your favourite smart device. Stay tuned!" On the other hand, GSC recently celebrated its 35th anniversary.
