26 Jul – Marvel's Kevin Feige recently revealed that the studio is now in search of the right filmmaker(s) to helm its two upcoming Avengers movies. Feige, who appeared at the San Diego Comic-Con to unveil the studio's upcoming movies for Phase 5 and 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, admitted that the upcoming two Avengers movies will not be helmed by the Russo Brothers, who previously directed "Infinity War" and "Endgame". "We do not have a director for Secret Wars, and you will see about some of the other director announcements at some point. But no, they are not lying to you," he said, when asked about Joe and Anthony Russo's previous statement about not returning to the MCU. "They're telling the truth. They're very busy running their AGBO empire, and the world is better for it," he added. This is in reference to the brothers' production company, which most recently produced "The Gray Man" for Netflix. Earlier this week, Feige revealed that there will be two Avengers movies to be released in the same year in 2025 - "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" (to be released in May) and "Avengers: Secret Wars" (to be screened in November).
