14 Jun – M. Night Shyamalan recently announced that he has finally wrapped up production on his upcoming film, "Knock at the Cabin". The filmmaker shared the good news on Twitter on 11 June, posting a photo of the clapper board filled with signatures including his own. He wrote, "Going on the wall. Just wrapped #knockatthecabin sincerest love to the cast and crew. This one really changed me as a person and an artist." Shyamalan also added the hashtag "risk everything every time".
The upcoming movie stars Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Jonathan Groff and Nikki Amuka-Bird among others, though not much is known about the plot of the movie. In a previous interview, the director admitted that it was the fastest script he has ever written. "[It] has this movement, this event, that causes me to write really fast. Hopefully, audiences will feel that when they come to see it. It is definitely in the wheelhouse of the things you're seeing from me now, especially with Servant, this contained and gigantic event that's occurring," he said. The upcoming movie is set to be released on 3 February 2024.
