23 Dec – While his upcoming movie is facing boycott in India, Shah Rukh Khan himself is breaking record by becoming the only Indian actor to have been listed in Empire's 50 Greatest Actor of All Time. The actor, who has starred in a huge number of movies including "Devdas", "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "Kal Ho Naa Ho", was listed among the greats that include Tom Hanks, Buster Keaton, Sidney Poitier and Anthony Hopkins.
The article read, "Ms. Marvel's favourite movie star has a career that has now spanned four decades of near unbroken hits, and a fanbase of pretty much billions. You don't do that without outrageous amounts of charisma and absolute mastery of your craft. Comfortable in almost every genre going, there's pretty much nothing he can't do." Among other actors in the list are Laurence Olivier, Kate Winslet, Al Pacino, Michael Caine, and Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh. SRK's upcoming movie "Pathaan" is set to be released in January next year. Aside from the said film, he has several new projects in hand including "Jawan" and "Dunki".
