17 Feb – Paramount recently announced that the upcoming "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" will not be its only one, as there are plans for several more in the future. On 16 February, its streamer Paramount+ tweeted this news, saying that the film will be the first of three new instalments.
In addition, a new animated series from Nickelodeon will also be arriving this fall - the first since 2019's "Transformers: War for Cybertron".
"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts", the seventh film of the said franchise, is set to be released in June 2023 and is directed by Steven Caple Jr of "Creed II" fame. It has already cast Ron Perlman and Anthony Ramos in the lead. In addition to the said movie, another CG-animated movie will debut in cinemas the next year.
