7 Jun – Indian director Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth couldn't help but feel moved to be able to direct her superstar father in her new movie, "Lal Salaam". On 5 June, the filmmaker posted a photo of her giving direction to Rajinikanth, who was partly hidden from view in a prop car, writing, "I look at you... I never imagined there would come a day I'll shoot with you." "I admire you... I adore you... Sometimes I look through you... Most of the times I look at the world with you... I realise... I am you... Every single day appa... more and more I love you," she added.
It is noted that Rajinikanth plays an extended cameo role as a character named Moideen Bhai in the movie, currently shooting in Mumbai. It is said to be a cricket-based drama starring Vishnu Vishal. The movie is set to be released sometime this year. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth's new movie will be "Jailer", directed by Nelson and to be released in August.
