8 Jun – Hear ye! Hear ye! It looks like the new Captain America movie has a new title now! Marvel Studios announced the change of the title to its 4th Captain America movie, which was originally titled, "Captain America: New World Order". On 6 June, the studio shared a photo of actor Anthony Mackie, who is the new captain following Chris Evans' departure in "Avengers: Endgame", with fellow new addition Harrison Ford, and wrote, "Captain America: Brave New World, in theatres May 3, 2024."
Meanwhile, Mackie also posted the same photo on his Instagram to express his excitement about working with Ford, who has been cast to be the new General "Thunderbolt" Ross following the passing of original actor William Hurt. "When Harrison Ford tells you how kicking ass should look, you listen! LoL... Thanks for the on set wisdom and laughs my friend! Can't wait to do it again..." he posted. Prior to playing Captain America, Mackie had been playing the role of Falcon since "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" in 2014.
