11 Apr – After Austin Butler's success as Elvis, it looks like Timothée Chalamet will be trying his hand on singing as well. As Bob Dylan in the movie, "A Complete Unknown". Director James Mangold, who is set to direct Chalamet in the new biopic about the singer, who is considered one of the greatest songwriters of all time, confirmed that the actor will be singing the songs in the movie himself, when asked by the media.
He also expressed excitement over the upcoming movie, saying, "It's such an amazing time in American culture and the story of a young, 19-year-old Bob Dylan coming to New York with like two dollars in his pocket and becoming a worldwide sensation within three years - first being embraced into the family of folk music in New York and then, of course, kind of outrunning them at a certain point as his star rises so beyond belief." "It's such an interesting true story and about such an interesting moment in the American scene." Filming may begin in August this year, with the story being based on Elijah Wald's 2015 book "Dylan Goes Electric". On the other hand, Chalamet is soon to be seen in "Dune: Part Two", to be released in November, as well as "Wonka", which will open in theatres during Christmas season.
