9 Mar – In preparation to get back to his Wolverine body for "Deadpool 3", Hugh Jackman recently took to Instagram to share the kind of food he is eating for the time being.

On 6 March, the Australian hunk posted two photos of his meals that he is eating every day as part of his bulking phase.

Some of the food, packed in several meal boxes, include black bass with veggie rice and herb sauce, that is revealed to pack 2,000 calories, as well as two packs of chicken burgers with sweet potato and grass-fed top sirloin with noodles.

"Bulking. A day in the life. Thank you Chef Mario for helping me stay healthy and properly fed whilst .. Becoming. Wolverine. Again," he tweeted.

Bulking refers to the muscle-gaining phase in which one consumes more calories than one's body needs for a set period of time to provide the body with necessary fuel to boost muscle size during weight training.

Jackman needs 8,300 calories a day in order to do so.

Back in February, the actor shared a photo of him with coach Beth Lewis, and jokingly compared himself to "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds, saying, "He's only 46. I'm older. But it's not a competition".
