19 Dec – Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of harassment and reckless assault in the third degree. The verdict was reached by six jury members over four hours of deliberation, though he was not found guilty on two other charges of intentional assault of the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree.
Sentencing to be set on 6 February, with charges can carry a sentence of up to one year in prison.
Majors seemed to plan to appeal, as his attorney Priya Chaudhry stated that he looks forward to fully clearing his name. The actor faced four charges of assault and harassment after he called 911 on 25 March to report that his ex-partner Grace Jabbari was unconscious in their apartment. Majors was arrested after police found several injuries including a fractured finger on Jabbari. On the other hand, it was reported that Marvel Studios has dropped the actor as Kang the Conqueror from its upcoming MCU titles.
