Family drama "Babah" breaks RM2 million in just five days of release

"Babah" has been in theatres since 5 December

13 Dec - It's another good news for the Malaysian film industry, as family drama, "Babah" has now made RM2 million in just five days of release.

Sharing the good news on social media, lead actor Qi Razali, who plays the titular role in the movie, took to social media and expressed, "Thank you to those who have supported the movie. Some of you have even watched it twice, three times. Thank you so much."

"God willing, we will keep pushing. Go, Babah!" he added.

The movie, which also co-stars Cristina Suzanne, Sweet Qismina, Adam Lee, and Kis Aista, revolves around the relationship between Isyak and his daughter Maya as they face the ups and downs of life, including Maya's diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome.
