15 Apr – Brace yourself, Bridget Jones' fans. There is going to be the fourth movie after all.

Universal Pictures and Working Title recently announced that they are set to adapt Helen Fielding's "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy", which will see the return of Hugh Grant as the mischievous Daniel Cleaver.


Renee Zellweger, who will return as Bridget, will also be joined by Emma Thompson, her co-star in the 2016 movie, "Bridget Jones's Baby", aside from the addition of newcomer Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall.

In the book "Mad About the Boy" which was released in 2013, we have Bridget navigating life, work, family and love as a single mother and widow at 51 years old.

The first film was released in 2001, and stars Zellweger as a 30-something woman torn between two men. It co-stars Hugh Grant and Colin Firth. Its success spawned two more movies - the 2004 sequel, "The Edge of Reason" and the 2016's "Bridget Jones's Baby".
