17 May - Global Station, the production company founded by Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza's sister-in-law Dato' Zaiton Mohd Jiwa, has decided not to use any "problematic" artistes in their future titles to avoid any additional issues.

Speaking to the media about the decision recently, CEO Zetty Alia Ramly stated that they will try to avoid from casting actors with disciplinary issues, as they will unwittingly affect others involved in the project as well.

"Any issues triggered by them will involve everybody as we work in a team. If one person does anything wrong, it will affect their colleagues' source of income as well," she said.

Nonetheless, Zetty assured that the company will not just take any action based on hearsay, and will investigate the issues first before making any decision.

As for Aliff Aziz and Ruhainies, who made headlines after they were caught by the moral police earlier this year, Zetty said that the company has never worked with both artistes, and that they have yet to decide on having such collaborations in the future.

For the time being, Global Station is focusing on two new dramas, including "Bawah Payung Awan", an adaptation of an Alaf 21 novel of the same name penned by its own author, Liza Nur. The drama will star Nabila Razali, Ben Amir and Nelissa Nizam among others.
