21 May - After previously announcing that "Indian 2" will be releasing sometime in June, Kamal Haasan is now officially sharing the actual date of release for his highly-anticipated flick.

On 19 May, the actor-producer posted a new poster of the movie, which has a character, possibly his, riding a horse away from the sunset, with the film slogan read, "Zero tolerance".

He posted, "Indian2 releasing worldwide in cinemas 12th July 2024!"

At the same time, Kamal also revealed that the first single from the movie will be released on 22 May.

Produced by Lyca Productions, the upcoming movie is the sequel to director S Shankar and Kamal Haasan's iconic 1996 film of the same name. The sequel has been in the making for years, having had to halt several times due to some events including the COVID-19 pandemic and a fatal crane accident that killed four.
