1 Mar – Following the success of 2007's horror flick, "Jangan Pandang Belakang", Metrowealth International Group (MIG) recently announced that they are set to produce the sequel to the movie. MIG's Managing Director, David Teo revealed that it took the company 17 years to come up with a sequel as they had to take account a lot of things, including finding the right director for the job. He also revealed that he himself experienced something paranormal following the release of the movie. "After what I had gone through, I was inspired to share my own experience through the movie. Thus, I hope the sequel will create a new phenomenon, just like the first movie did," he said.
The movie, which will be produced with a RM1.8 million budget, will hopefully create a positive impact, the director added. The original film, helmed by Ahmad Idham, made RM 7.4 million at the box office. The sequel reportedly will be a continuation of the first movie, and will feature stars like Emma Maembong, Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin, Mawar Rashid, Alif Hadi, Khatijah Tan, and Ruminah Sidek. It will also be directed by Pierre Andre.
