14 Nov - Move aside all you new generation of heartthrobs. The people have spoken and they still want Jim Halpert from "The Office" to be PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive.

Actor-turned-director John Krasinski, who bested other contenders like Glen Powell, Jeremy Allen White and Pedro Pascal to receive the title, admitted that he blacked out and had zero thoughts after being announced the new face of the annual title, except thinking that someone was playing pranks on him.

"That's not how I wake up, thinking, 'Is this the day that I'll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?' And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me," he said.

Meanwhile, when asked what wife Emily Blunt thinks of the title, the 45-year-old actor expressed, "She was very excited. There was a lot of joy involved in me telling her."

He added that Blunt even joked about turning the cover as a wallpaper for their house.

Meanwhile, fans and friends alike were elated over the news, with even Buzzfeed commenting, "Big day for Jim Halpert."
