22 Oct - As everybody was celebrating Karva Chauth, Kajol recently took to social media to celebrate the anniversary of the most Karva Chauth movie of all, "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge".

On 20 October, the actress shared a photo from the movie, and wrote, "29 years to the OG of Karva Chauth... wishing everyone a very hungry and successful Karva Chauth..."

"Maybe go to Maratha Mandir [Theatre] and see the film. It's 0 calories," she added.

It is noted that the Mumbai iconic cinema hall has been running the movie for more than 1,200 weeks since its release in 1995.

The romantic comedy film, which stars Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, tells the story of Simran and Raj, two young non-resident Indians who fall in love during a vacation through Europe with their friends. However, Raj later finds that trying to win over her family is not easy as Simran's father has already chosen a man for his daughter.

The film was the highest-grossing Indian film of 1995 and one of the most successful Indian films in history.
