30 Jan - Karan Johar recently hinted on a new movie, and now fans are hoping that he is talking about the upcoming Ibrahim Ali Khan big screen lead actor debut. On 29 January, the filmmaker posted an announcement, saying that his production company has been shooting a film for the past year and kept it under wraps as requested by the debut director. He then shared some hints about the project, saying that it stars, "A) A superstar from the south who has just delivered a pan-India juggernaut! B) A massively loved actress who continues to awe us with her emotional energy on celluloid C) A legacy debut actor who is working tirelessly to find his spot in the sunshine of exceptional talent & combatting the obsession with the N [nepotism] word! But keeping his head down and just working!"
However, fans were quick to respond confidently on three of the hints. The superstar from the south is said to be Prithviraj Sukumaran of "Salaar" fame, the massively loved actress as Kajol, and the legacy debut actor to be Ibrahim, who is the son of actor Saif Ali Khan.
The movie in question is said to be "Sarzameen", which was previously reported to have started its production last year. It is noted that Ibrahim was reported to have been courted by Karan's Dharma Productions last year. Prior to acting, he worked as Assistant Director on Karan's movie, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani".
