13 May - Kareena Kapoor has recently received a legal notice from the High Court, and it has something to do with her previously released book.

Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia from the Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the notice on advocate Christopher Anthony's petition to register a case against Kareena and her publisher, after the actress used the word "Bible" for her 2021 memoir about her pregnancy.

It is noted that the memoir has the official title of "Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual for Moms-To-Be", and it chronicles Kareena's pregnancy journey as well as her tips and suggestions for pregnant mothers.

Said Christopher Anthony, who is a social activist from Jabalpur, the use of the word "Bible" in the memoir is hurtful to the Christian community.

"Bible is the holy book of Christianity all over the world and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy with the Bible," he said.

It is noted that he had previously filed a petition in the lower court, but was declined on the grounds that he failed to establish how the use of the word was offensive.
