The British-Indonesian movie star marries a Malaysian jewellery heir

22 Oct - Indonesian actress and model Pevita Pearce recently announced her marriage to Malaysian jewellery heir, Mirzan Meer.

The actress, most known at this side of the isle for her performance in "Tenggelamnya Kapal Van der Wijck", shared the good news on social media on 20 October with photos from the wedding.

"Today, in the quiet of love, surrounded by those who mean the most, we became one," she posted.

It was reported that Mirzan, who is the son of Habib Group's Datuk Seri Meer Habib and wife Datin Seri Zarida Noordin, is also the director of Time Zone Group, one of the subsidiaries of Habib Group.

The two reportedly tied the knot in a close ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, attended by only close family and friends.
