1 Apr – "REVERSI", a Malaysian film by director Adrian Teh of box office hits "Malbatt: Misi Bakara" and "Paskal The Movie", has been chosen as the sole Malaysian entry at the prestigious 26th Udine Far East Film Festival, taking place from 24 April to 2 May 2024.
Sharing his excitement about the selection, Adrian said "It's an honour to represent Malaysia once again at this year's edition. "REVERSI", making its World Premiere here in Italy, is a new venture for me, I'm very fortunate to be able to collaborate with a group of amazing cast and crew".
"This story is about love and loss and it's about what if we are given a second chance. I look forward to sharing this story not just with Malaysians, but to the world audience with hopes that this story will inspire us to cherish our lives and our loved ones", he added. "REVERSI" tells the story of a husband's undying love for his wife and son, who goes to great lengths to correct his past for a better future. The film marks Adrian Teh's first attempt in the drama genre with time traveling elements. Boasting a stellar cast made up of Beto Kusyairy, Shiqin Kamal, Vanidah Imran and Hasnul Rahmat to name a few, the skillfully directed "REVERSI" is poised to draw in audiences of all ages with its genre-defying storytelling and compelling performances.
Adrian is immensely proud of his latest film and promises that it is something Malaysian's have never seen before. The film is jointly produced by ACT 2 Pictures, Clover Films and Golden Screen Cinemas. Following its run at the Udine, Italy, "REVERSI" is scheduled for a theatrical release later in the year.
