2 Apr - It looks like there will not be a Salman Khan and Karan Johar collaboration after all in the near future, as it was reported that the actor has now departed from the upcoming project, titled, "The Bull".

Sources recently stated that the actor, who was supposed to star in the military-related film produced by Karan's Dharma Productions, could no longer accommodate the production delays following the third postponement as he has to start filming his new action flick helmed by AR Murugadoss.

"After a lot of back and forth on the dates, Karan and Vishnu were still not able to commit to the exact timelines of the shoot. That's when Salman conveyed his decision to back out from the project. Salman politely informed his decision to Karan," said the unnamed source.

The source added that Salman might try and come back if Karan can commit to an actual timeline.

It is noted that Karan previously announced the collaboration in a post to wish Salman a happy birthday, writing, "25 years later, we will finally have a story to tell again... not saying any more than that."

The two collaborated 25 years ago on "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", when Salman agreed to play a small role as Aman, the fiance of Kajol's character, Anjali.
