26 June - Although there has been no announcement made by DreamWorks Animation, Eddie Murphy recently spilled the beans that he has already started recording his voice for the fifth instalment of the beloved animated feature, "Shrek".

The actor shared as much during a press tour to promote "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F", telling Collider that they have started doing "Shrek 4 or 5" months ago and that his character Donkey will have his standalone movie too.

"I did this, I recorded the first act, and we'll be doing it this year, we'll finish it up. Shrek is coming out, and Donkey's gonna have his own movie. We're gonna do Donkey as well. So we're gonna do a Shrek, and we're doing a Donkey [movie]," he said.
