11 Jul - It was revealed that English actress Simone Ashley has been cast as part of Brad Pitt's new Formula 1 movie, "F1".

The "Bridgerton" star was spotted with fellow "F1" actor Damson Idris on 7 July attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit in Northampton, England, where the movie is currently filming.

Other co-stars who attended the event included Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles and Samson Kayo.

No news as to what character Ashley will play in the movie, which is helmed by "Top Gun: Maverick" director Joseph Kosinski.

The actress was last seen in the third season of the "Bridgerton", the Regency-inspired hit drama series, reprising her role as Kate Sharma aka Viscountess Bridgerton.
