DC's "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" to release in June 2026
16 May - "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" has found its release date now that it has secured a director to helm it.

DC Studios recently announced that the movie will be released on 26 June 2026, making it the second movie under the DC Studios banner to have a date following James Gunn's "Superman".

The upcoming movie, which will star "House of the Dragon" actress Milly Alcock, will be helmed by Craig Gillespie of "I, Tonya" and "Cruella" fame.

Penned by Ana Nogueira, the movie is inspired by the Tom King and Bilquis Evely comic, and will depart from the character seen on The CW's "Supergirl".

Shooting is said to begin this fall.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros has also announced the release date of "Mortal Kombat 2", which will now be in theatres on 24 October 2025.
