17 Sep - The Jackson 5's member Tito Jackson has recently passed away.

The news was confirmed by his nephew Siggy Jackson, who revealed that Tito died on 15 September after suffering from a heart attack.

Prior to his passing, Tito had been performing alongside brothers Jackie and Marlon as the trio The Jacksons, with their latest performance held on 8 September in Surrey, England. The Jacksons was set to perform in New Jersey on 25 October prior to news of his passing.

Born as Toriano Adaryll Jackson in Gary, Indiana, Tito was one of the founding members of The Jackson 5, and alongside brothers Michael, Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon, was known for hit songs like "I Want You Back" and "I'll Be There". He was also known as the group's background singer and guitarist.

In his later years, he went on to release two solo albums, "Tito Time" in 2016 and "Under Your Spell" in 2021.

He was 70.
