14 Jun - At the recent gala premiere of "Zim Zim Ala Kazim" at GSC The Starling Mall in Petaling Jaya, speaker and preacher Datuk Mohd Kazim Elias revealed that for the past 15 years, he has been having difficulty sleeping at night due to a black magic spell that had been cast on him.

According to Ustaz Kazim, there were four types of black magic that were sent onto him by six individuals, resulting in him experiencing various mysterious illnesses and creepy mystical disorders.

Ustaz Kazim's experiences of being repeatedly assaulted by black magic and mystical things is told through a film directed by Asmawi Ani, or Mawi, entitled "Zim Zim Ala Kazim".

The ustaz revealed, "During the filming of the project, I still had skin diseases all over my body. My legs were also swollen. I had seen 15 specialist doctors at various hospitals, but the biopsy results were always negative. Then I took the initiative to heal in a traditional way. Until now, I still have difficulty sleeping, an issue that started 15 years ago. So when I sit at home, I put on the holy verses of Quran at night."

"One night, my grandson's toy robot moved by itself into my room and spun around in front of me. There was also a time when three people came to treat me, I thought there were four people. I saw a woman sitting between the three people and looking at me," Ustaz Kazim continued. ""In addition, when my friends came to visit me at a hospital, I saw a woman and her child with long hair looking at me."

Ustaz Kazim is open if there is a producer or director who wants to bring the mystical of his experiences in more detail to the silver screen. The ustaz is also open to acting offers from other producers and directors who are interested to portray his experiences on the big screen. However, he expressed that his conditions would be that there are no touching scenes with female actors and that the entire production would observe prayer times during filming.

"Alhamdulillah, Mawi and the rest of the production have no problem with my conditions. They prayed even if they have to work 24 hours a day. One time when the shooting location was in the forest at 4 in the morning, we still prayed. I hope this routine will be followed," he said.

In addition to Ustaz Kazim, "Zim Zim Ala Kazim" also stars Mawi, Bell Ngasri, Santesh, Elvina Chua, Rosnah Johari, Iqram Dinzly, Zarina Anjoulie and Man Raja Lawak.

Speaking about his involvement in "Zim Zim Ala Kazim", he stated that 70 to 80 percent of the film's storyline are true happenings and there are scenes that had to be reworked in order to adhere to the guidelines of the Film Censorship Board (LPF).
