14 Oct - Alec Baldwin recently assured that both he and his younger brother Stephen are unharmed, following reports that they were involved in a car accident.

The 67-year-old actor posted an update about their situation on Instagram on 14 October, saying that the accident happened after a garbage truck that was "the size of a whale" cut him off while he was driving through an East Hampton neighbourhood.

"It was the biggest truck I have ever seen," he said.

Revealing that it was wife Hilaria's car that he crashed, Baldwin said, "To avoid hitting him, I hit a big fat tree and crushed my wife's car. I crushed my wife's car. I feel bad about that."

"That's all fine, and I'm fine, and my brother's fine. My wife's car is pretty smashed up. Big tree, big fat tree," he added.

The news was first reported by TMZ, stating that Baldwin's Range Rover hit a tree in East Hampton, New York.
