2 Jul - With their Warner Bros deal expiring soon, Amazon MGM is now entering a new deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The two parties have recently signed a multi-year deal for Sony to distribute Amazon MGM's upcoming titles internationally, namely the three new movies, "After the Hunt", "Mercy", "Crime 101", and "Project Hail Mary".

Amazon MGM will be directly distributing the movies overseas in territories where it has its own offices, while Sony will be doing distribution work with the rest.

Aside from the four movies, which will be released in late this year and early next year, Amazon MGM also has numerous other titles on their slate, including the Coleen Hoover adaptation, "Verity" (May 2026), the Mattel property remake "Masters of the Universe" (May 2026), and "The Thomas Crown Affair" (March 2027).

It was also announced on 30 June that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Artists Equity, has also signed a theatrical film agreement with Sony Pictures.
