27 Jan - Ariana Grande couldn't believe that she is now an Oscar-nominated actress.

The singer, who came to prominence playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon show, "Victorious", stated that it felt surreal to hear her name being announced as one of the contenders of the Best Supporting Actress category at the Academy Awards for her performance in "Wicked".

"It is just the absolute honour of my life. Getting to play Glinda was the greatest gift of my life, so just to be recognised in this way for that is an unfathomable honour. And I'm so deeply moved and grateful, and it is far beyond comprehension," she said.
