"Ballerina" fails to surpass "Lilo & Stitch" in its opening weekend

"Ballerina" will have to leap higher to beat "Lilo & Stitch"
10 Jun - The Disney live-action remake of "Lilo & Stitch" remains champion at the US box office, as the next film to debut, "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina", failed to surpass the movie in ticket sales.

The live-action "Lilo & Stitch" brought in another USD 32.5 million in its third weekend, amassing a total of USD 335.8 million in the US and USD 772.6 million globally.

Meanwhile, "Ballerina", which stars Ana de Armas in the lead, opened in second place with USD 25 million, which is the second lowest start for a "John Wick" title following the first film.
