18 Apr - The action-packed thriller "Blood Brothers: Bara Naga" continues its remarkable box office run, amassing an impressive RM29.9 million after just seven days in cinemas including preview screenings.

This represents a significant jump from the RM21 million reported after its first four days, demonstrating the film's growing popularity among Malaysian moviegoers.

Directed by the talented duo of Syafiq Yusof and Abhilash Chandra, the film has secured its position as the highest-opening Malaysian release of 2025 thus far.

The film's success is attributed to its gripping storyline and powerful performances from its ensemble cast led by Sharnaaz Ahmad and Shafiq Kyle, the latter who portrays Ariff, a loyal bodyguard framed for betraying his Mafia family.

The film's promotional "Bara Naga Tour" has been instrumental in building excitement, having already visited Johor, Melaka and the Klang Valley. The tour is now set to continue in Sabah this weekend, where fans will have the opportunity to meet the cast and crew behind this blockbuster hit.

When previously asked about a potential sequel, Skop Productions' Chairman Datuk Yusof Haslam hinted at future plans, stating, "God willing, we will see," while expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from audiences, many of whom have reportedly watched the film multiple times - contributing to what is shaping up to be one of the most successful Malaysian films of the year.
