24 Oct - Bobby Deol recently revealed the fickleness of people in the movie industry by using his own fame and success as the example.

In a recent interview on Shubhankar Mishra's podcast, the actor, who experienced newfound fame through his movies in recent years, said that he once had the same successes in the '90s with movies like "Soldier", "Badal" and "Ajnabee" and was beloved for it.

However, his films in the 2000s didn't do well, with string of losses plaguing the actor. That is where he started to see how everything changed.

"This was a slow process. For instance, people would meet me nicely, but they would soon go away and form their own groups, and I would be left alone. The number of invitations I got for parties started to decrease," he said, though added that he wasn't that affected as "the Deols don't go to parties much".

He continued, "The same people who would be so warm with me (when I was at the top) started ignoring me. But that's what they say; people are with you as long as you have something to offer."

However, Bobby said that he doesn't hold people's behaviour against them. He added that they came to him again following the success of his recent works like "Animal" and "Aashram".

"It happened, and it happens in every industry, not just mine. But I don't hold grudges. The same people come to me now with offers, but I don't hold anything against them," he added.
