20 Nov - From one Harry Potter to another, Daniel Radcliffe recently revealed that he had actually reached out to the new Boy Who Lived, Dominic McLaughlin after the young actor was cast in the upcoming HBO adaptation of the JK Rowling book series.

In a recent interview with "Good Morning, America," Radcliffe said that he wrote a letter to McLaughlin to wish him a good luck.

"I wouldn't say that anyone who is going to play Harry has to [reach out to me], but I know a few people working on the production. I wrote to Dominic and sent him a letter, and he sent me a very sweet note back," he said.

As for what he had written for McLaughlin, Radcliffe said that he told the young actor to have the best time and an even better time than he did.

"And I do, I just see these pictures of him and the other kids and I just want to hug them," he continued. "They just seem so young. I just look at them and say, 'Oh it's crazy I was doing that at that age.' But it's also incredibly sweet, and I hope they're having a great time."

McLaughlin is joined by Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout was revealed to play Ron Weasley. Other actors include Paapa Essiedu as Prof. Severus Snape, John Lithgow as Hogwarts' Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid among others.
