"Ejen Ali The Movie 2" bags RM59.3 million at the box office

2 Jul - "Ejen Ali The Movie 2" (EATM2) is closer to fulfilling the wish of its creator, Usamah Zaid Yasin, as it has now made RM 59.3 million at the box office.

The animated feature, which has been in theatres since 22 May, achieved the feat after 39 days of theatrical screening including the two-day fan screening, with 3.75 million people having watched it in cinemas.

Sharing the news on social media, the Ejen Ali team stated, "Thank you to all the agents who have been determined to complete the mission. Your important role is greatly appreciated."

The Wau Animation head previously expressed his wish to see the movie reaching RM 60 million at the box office.

On the other hand, it was revealed that Cinema XXI, the largest cinema chain in Indonesia, is screening the movie in more than 100 of its theatres across the country, aside from other theatre chains like CGV and Cinepolis.
