"Ejen Ali The Movie 2" makes RM15.3 million in just four days

27 May - "Ejen Ali The Movie 2" is making a historic record by breaking RM15.3 million in just four days.

The news was announced by Komet Productions and GSC Cinemas, stating, "THANK YOU, MALAYSIA! #EjenAliTheMovie2 hits theatres with a collection of RM15.3 MILLION. Our work is not done yet! THIS IS OUR MOVIE - let's invite all family and friends to buy tickets now."

The collection has now made the WAU Animation film the biggest animated feature opening in Malaysia.

Speaking about the success, WAU's CEO Usamah Zaid Yasin stated that he is thankful for the support.

"Ever since the fan screening until the official release, we have received extraordinary support. As the producers, we are overwhelmed with happiness every time we read comments and responses from the audience," he said.

On the other hand, the team also urged everybody to not share spoilers on social media so that others can enjoy the experience as well.

They are also expecting a bigger crowd once the school holidays starts on 29 May.
