25 Jul - Comedian Ike Barinholtz was revealed to currently being in talks to take on the role of controversial billionaire, Elon Musk.

The actor, who recently earned his first Emmy nomination for "The Studio", may be portraying the Tesla CEO for Luca Guadagnino's new AI movie, "Artificial", which will star Andrew Garfield and Yura Borisov ("Anora").

The movie reportedly will be based on the story of how AI company OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman being fired and rehired in a matter of days.

It is noted that Musk was the co-founder of OpenAI, but split from Altman and the company due to differences of views.

The movie will be written by former SNL writer Simon Rich, known for "Inside Out" and "An American Pickle".

Barinholtz's last big screen work was voicing a character in "Orion and the Dark".
